We’ll stay in a spacious alpine house in the hills near Gmunden.

The area is part of the Austrian Alps and known for its combination of mountain scenery and crystal-clear lakes. From the house, you’ll have easy access to scenic walking routes, peaceful nature spots, and the lake for swimming or relaxing by the water.

Nearby, Gmunden is a charming lakeside town with cafés, small shops, and a relaxed atmosphere: perfect for slow afternoons, coffee stops, or dinner by the water.

The house itself is comfortable, bright, and set up perfectly for a small group. It offers a mix of shared and more private rooms, giving you the option to choose what suits you best.

HOW TO GET TO AUSTRIA?

Salzburg is easy to reach from both the Netherlands and Belgium. We’re here to help you decide what fits your travel style best:

Flying
You can fly from Amsterdam, Eindhoven, or Brussels to Salzburg in around 1.5 hours. Another great option is flying into Munich, which often has more frequent and affordable flights. From there, it’s a 1–2 hour train or car ride to Salzburg.

By train
You can reach Salzburg by train in about 8–10 hours, usually with a transfer in Germany. A great option if you prefer a more relaxed journey.

By car
Driving from the Netherlands or Belgium takes approximately 8–10 hours. Ideal if you prefer flexibility or want to make stops along the way.
