Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at your own pace, settle into your room and meet the other women over a home-made dinner. We'll end the evening with games, laughter and good conversations to kick off the weekend in a relaxed way.

DAY 2

After a slow breakfast, we'll head out on a guided beaver hike through the beautiful Ardennes. The afternoon is yours to relax; read a book, enjoy the surroundings, chat with the group, or simply unwind. We'll end the day with dinner in town before settling in for a cozy movie night at the accommodation.

DAY 3

We'll start our final day with breakfast before heading onto the water for a fun canoe adventure on the Ourthe River. After lunch together in a nearby village, it's time to say our goodbyes and head home.

THE ACCOMODATION

We’ll stay in a charming Belgian house in Houffalize. Houffalize sits in a beautiful valley along the Ourthe River. From the house, you’ll have views over the valley and easy access to some of the region’s best walking routes.

The Ardennes are known for their scenic trails through forests, hills, and open viewpoints, making it a perfect destination for long walks and exploring nature at a slower pace. Nearby towns like La Roche-en-Ardenne and Bastogne are lovely places to wander through streets, visit local markets, browse small shops, and enjoy a relaxed lunch or coffee on a terrace.

The house itself is warm, cozy, and very much in the spirit of the Ardennes. There are comfortable bedrooms where you can choose to book either a shared room or a private room if you prefer your own space.

The house offers:

  • Beautiful views over the valley

  • Free parking

  • WiFi

  • A relaxing sauna

  • Four bathrooms shared between the rooms

It’s the perfect base to come back to after a day of walking. A quiet place to unwind, enjoy the views, and spend time together over good food and conversation.
